“A friendly welcome from Norrie and Pat.”

This is a lovely B&B with gracious and informative host and hostess. Quiet setting in country gardens but close to Killarney, Muckross Abbey, and the Ring of Kerry. Personalized breakfast and excellent meal recommendations.

“Out in the country B&B within the city.”

What a beautiful rustic country home. This place is peaceful, clean, and comfortable. Woke to the sound of birds singing. So nice. Ms. Norrie is as cute as a button. What a fun and wonderful lady. She has this B&B down. She went the extra mile to help us get set up for bikes and day trips.

Very accommodating even through we arrived at 9:30pm. Offers french toast or pancakes if you've had your fill of Irish full breakfast, which she offers as well.

Norrie was a wonderful hostess and her pancakes should be world famous. I would stay again easily.

“Tucked away.”

Alderhaven looked like something in a fairy tale - tucked away from the hustle & bustle, but just a few minutes from downtown. Norrie was very gracious, and our food was delicious. Our rooms were extremely comfortable - I wish we could have stayed longer!

“Very nice.”

Very nice B&B in a quiet place in Killarney. Norrie is very kind and helpful. If you are fed up with the irish breakfast, ask for the delicious pancake! The house is very nice and big, with style.

The Killarney national park is worth the watch.

“Excellent experience”

We stayed at Alderhaven for two nights during our tour of Ireland. It was the most enjoyable bed and breakfast we have ever stayed in. Owners were extremely nice and helpful. The food and atmosphere were excellent. They made us feel very comfortable and our 22 year old daughter still talks about the stories and history lessons.

“Lovely stay!”

We arrived on our first day in the country, very reasonable drive from Shannon airport with stops along the way for sightseeing. We had very little planned and Norrie was a fantastic host, helping to shape our stay. Be sure to check out Ross castle and Muckross gardens - really nice. The rooms at Alderhaven were nice and clean."
